Bruce G. Rankin, DO, CPI, FACOFP

Dr. Bruce​ Rankin is a native Floridian growing up in Ft. Lauderdale. He was accepted to the early admissions program to college during which time he earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida and was accepted to the Charter Class of NSU-COM (SECOM) 1985.

He completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Southeastern Medical Center in North Miami Beach and has practiced in DeLand, Florida for 32 years. He was Chief of Staff for Florida Hospital DeLand and was the Medical Director of Accel Clinical Research DeLand. He has been a Principal Investigator for over 500 clinical medical research trials.

He served as President of the Florida Society of Osteopathic Family Physicians in 2015-16. He has served as the team physician for Stetson University in DeLand for 30 years.

He lives with his wife Jeannette in DeLand and has four children Andrea, Kyle, Cody, and Billy.

Mary Theresa Izzo, PhD, APRN-C

Mary Theresa is a family nurse practitioner with a master's degree in Nursing and a doctorate in Health Administration. After completing her residency, she received her nurse practitioner certification at the Community General Hospital in Syracuse New York.


Since 1975, she has been a registered nurse and nurse practitioner with multiple specialty groups and hospitals in New York, Maryland and Florida. In 2009, she joined the Family Practice of West Volusia. In addition to providing high-quality family medical care, she is certified in Botox and Dermal filler treatments.

Stephanie Stovall, PA-C

Stephanie graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. She also graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a master’s in Medical Science and bachelor’s in Physician Assistant Studies. She has been working in family practice since 2005 and has additional experience in Urgent Care.

Casey V. Wilson, MSPA-C

Casey is a Physician Assistant with more than a decade of experience with the Family Practice of West Volusia.  She went to the University of Florida for her undergrad and majored in Nutrition, and received a master's degree in Physician Assistant from South University.  She enjoys spending time with her family whether active in football and swimming or relaxing on the beach. She is active in her local church and community.


She continues to practice while expanding her knowledge of medicine.  She treats every patient with compassion and respect and counts it a privilege to provide care for the whole body.

Deborah Darnell, DNP, APRN-C

Deborah is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with diverse professional experience. She is certified in Family Practice and received a master's degree and a doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida. She is active in her local church and has been involved in medical missions as well as the co-founding of a food pantry.

Deborah is fluent in Spanish. As a bilingual provider, it is her desire to provide competent, compassionate care to all of her patients, including those in the Hispanic community.
